Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground beef – 80/20 blend
- ยฝ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg – Beaten
- 1 Onion – Finely diced
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 3 tablespoon Butter
- 3 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 Onion – Sliced
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, diced onion, salt, and black pepper. Form into patties.
- Place patties in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux and cook for 1โ2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth, then heavy cream, garlic powder, and sliced onion. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Pour gravy over patties.
- Bake uncovered for 25โ30 minutes until patties are cooked through and gravy is bubbling. Serve warm.
