Description

These Bang Bang Ground Turkey Rice Bowls are flavorful, colorful, and packed with protein and veggies. Creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce makes them irresistible for weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • ยฝ cup mayonnaise
  • ยผ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook ground turkey until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice to make the Bang Bang sauce.
  3. Add chopped bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli to the skillet and sautรฉ for 3โ€“4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Stir in the cooked jasmine rice and Bang Bang sauce. Mix thoroughly and cook for another 2โ€“3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken instead of ground turkey for a faster version.
  • Add more sriracha if you like it spicier.
