Description

Bang Bang Salmon is a quick, flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated with a creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep with minimal ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ยฝ tsp salt
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • ยฝ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, fresh lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bake salmon for 12โ€“15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. While the salmon is baking, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl to make the Bang Bang sauce.
  5. Once salmon is cooked, drizzle or brush the Bang Bang sauce over the fillets.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha according to desired spice level.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
  • Leftover salmon can be stored in the refrigerator for 2โ€“3 days.
