Description
Bang Bang Salmon is a quick, flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated with a creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ยฝ tsp salt
- ยฝ tsp black pepper
- ยฝ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, fresh lime wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Bake salmon for 12โ15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
- While the salmon is baking, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- Once salmon is cooked, drizzle or brush the Bang Bang sauce over the fillets.
- Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges if desired.
- Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha according to desired spice level.
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
- Leftover salmon can be stored in the refrigerator for 2โ3 days.
