Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce is a rich and flavorful dish that pairs tender, seasoned steak bites with al dente rigatoni pasta smothered in a creamy, cheesy Parmesan sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight indulgence or a special dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Fontina cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear steak tips in the skillet until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sautรฉ until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  6. Return steak tips to the skillet and stir to coat with sauce.
  7. Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to combine with steak and sauce.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or Fontina on top and cover until melted.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
