Description
Cheeseburger Gnocchi is an easy one-pot meal that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with tender potato gnocchi. Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with savory goodness, itโs perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk
- 1 (16-ounce) package potato gnocchi
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, or a dollop of sour cream
Instructions
- In a large skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until softened, about 3โ4 minutes.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes (with liquid) and beef broth; bring to a simmer.
- Add potato gnocchi and stir. Cover and cook for 5โ7 minutes until gnocchi are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream or milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and creamy.
- Garnish with optional toppings and serve warm.
Notes
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- For extra cheesiness, sprinkle more cheddar on top before serving.
- Leftovers reheat well in the microwave or on the stovetop.
