Cheeseburger Gnocchi is an easy one-pot meal that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with tender potato gnocchi. Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with savory goodness, itโ€™s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1 (16-ounce) package potato gnocchi
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, or a dollop of sour cream


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until softened, about 3โ€“4 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add diced tomatoes (with liquid) and beef broth; bring to a simmer.
  5. Add potato gnocchi and stir. Cover and cook for 5โ€“7 minutes until gnocchi are tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream or milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with optional toppings and serve warm.

  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
