Description

This Cheeseburger Pie is a hearty, low-carb comfort dish packed with juicy seasoned ground beef, fresh tomato, onions, and a fluffy almondโ€“coconut flour batter. Cheesy, satisfying, and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp almond flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a baking dish lightly.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add onions to the skillet and sautรฉ until softened. Stir in diced tomato and remove from heat.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together almond milk, eggs, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  5. Add the cooked beef mixture to the batter and mix gently.
  6. Pour into the greased baking dish and sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 30โ€“35 minutes, or until golden and fully set in the center.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
