This Cheeseburger Pie is a hearty, low-carb comfort dish packed with juicy seasoned ground beef, fresh tomato, onions, and a fluffy almondโcoconut flour batter. Cheesy, satisfying, and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4 large eggs
- 3 tbsp almond flour
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a baking dish lightly.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onions to the skillet and sautรฉ until softened. Stir in diced tomato and remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together almond milk, eggs, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Add the cooked beef mixture to the batter and mix gently.
- Pour into the greased baking dish and sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30โ35 minutes, or until golden and fully set in the center.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use your favorite cheeseโcheddar works best.
