Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, onion powder, parsley, garlic, egg, flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut into squares or triangles. Place a portion of chicken mixture in the center of each piece and fold to form pillows. Seal edges.
  4. Place chicken pillows on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with Panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake for 15โ€“18 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: melt butter in a saucepan, add cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve the baked chicken pillows warm with the Parmesan sauce drizzled over them.
