Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pkg crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 6 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, onion powder, parsley, garlic, egg, flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut into squares or triangles. Place a portion of chicken mixture in the center of each piece and fold to form pillows. Seal edges.
- Place chicken pillows on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with Panko breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 15โ18 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: melt butter in a saucepan, add cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the baked chicken pillows warm with the Parmesan sauce drizzled over them.
