Description
These Chocolate Mint Truffle Kiss Cookies are rich, fudgy, and packed with peppermint flavor. Each cookie is topped with a mint Hershey’s Kiss, making them a festive and irresistible treat for holidays or any special occasion.
Ingredients
- About 60 unwrapped mint Hershey’s Kisses
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Imperial margarine
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together margarine, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8โ10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press a mint Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For stronger mint flavor, add an extra 1/4 tsp peppermint extract.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
