Description

Cowboy Butter Chicken Bites are juicy, flavorful chicken pieces cooked in a buttery, garlicky sauce with a hint of spice. Perfect for weeknight dinners or game-day appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  5. Cook for another 2 minutes to let flavors combine. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.
