Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a creamy, buttery pasta dish with tender chicken breasts, fresh garlic, and a hint of red pepper flakes. Perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients
- 3โ4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4โ5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ยผ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ยฝ tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sautรฉ garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir to combine, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked linguine and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the buttery cream sauce.
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes and chopped parsley over the top. Serve warm.
Notes
- Optional: top with grated Parmesan for extra richness.
- You can substitute linguine with fettuccine or spaghetti.
