Description

Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a creamy, buttery pasta dish with tender chicken breasts, fresh garlic, and a hint of red pepper flakes. Perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3โ€“4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 4โ€“5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ยผ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ยฝ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sautรฉ garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stir to combine, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked linguine and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the buttery cream sauce.
  6. Sprinkle red pepper flakes and chopped parsley over the top. Serve warm.

  • Optional: top with grated Parmesan for extra richness.
  • You can substitute linguine with fettuccine or spaghetti.
