Crac Chicken Penne is a quick and creamy pasta dish featuring perfectly seasoned chicken breasts, tender penne, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or a comforting family meal.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano (fresh preferred)
- 1 tsp dried basil (fresh preferred)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz penne pasta (or preferred pasta shape)
- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked penne and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
- Add sautรฉed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2โ3 days and reheated gently.
