Description

Creamy Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet is a delicious, one-pan meal featuring tender chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with pepperoncini peppers, roasted red peppers, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken (breasts or thighs)
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup roasted red pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sautรฉ garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Add pepperoncini peppers, roasted red peppers, and chicken stock. Simmer for 2โ€“3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, creating a creamy sauce.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer 2โ€“3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
