Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- ยฝ tsp garlic powder
- ยฝ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp flour
- ยฝ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (1 oz.) packet Ranch seasoning mix
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- ยฝ cup milk
- ยผ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, then whisk in flour and Italian seasoning to make a roux.
- Add chicken broth, milk, sour cream, and Ranch seasoning mix. Stir and cook until sauce thickens, about 3โ5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with creamy sauce. Simmer for 2โ3 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with rice, pasta, or vegetables.

- Use chicken thighs for juicier meat if preferred.
