Creamy Ranch Chicken is a flavorful and comforting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts cooked in a rich, creamy ranch sauce made with butter, milk, sour cream, and chicken broth. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • ยฝ tsp garlic powder
  • ยฝ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ยฝ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (1 oz.) packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ยฝ cup milk
  • ยผ cup sour cream


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, then whisk in flour and Italian seasoning to make a roux.
  5. Add chicken broth, milk, sour cream, and Ranch seasoning mix. Stir and cook until sauce thickens, about 3โ€“5 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with creamy sauce. Simmer for 2โ€“3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with rice, pasta, or vegetables.
