Ingredients
- 2 large boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mixed herb
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup stock (chicken or vegetable)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1.5 tablespoon ranch seasoning
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1.5 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter, add minced garlic, and sautรฉ for 1 minute.
- Stir in flour to create a roux, cooking 1โ2 minutes.
- Gradually add stock, whisking to avoid lumps, and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream and ranch seasoning until creamy.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with ranch sauce. Serve warm.
