Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts or chicken tenders, cut into strips
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
- ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ยฝ tsp onion powder
- ยฝ tsp salt
- ยผ tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray for coating
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly spray with olive oil and bake for 15โ20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper or chili flakes to the coating.
