Description
This Apple Crumble Cheesecake combines creamy cheesecake, tender spiced apples, and a crunchy oat crumble topping โ perfect for cozy fall evenings or holiday desserts.
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 cup Graham Crackers or finely ground digestive biscuits
- 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz Room-Temperature Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 3 large Eggs, room-temperature
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract or vanilla bean
- Apple Filling:
- 5 medium Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Crumble Topping:
- 1 cup Rolled Oats or quick oats
- 1/2 cup Flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare the crust: Mix graham crackers, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Press evenly into the bottom of the pan and set aside.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla. Mix until creamy and well combined.
- Prepare apple filling: Toss chopped apples with brown sugar, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Layer half of the apple filling over the crust, pour cheesecake filling on top, then add remaining apple filling.
- Prepare crumble topping: Combine oats and flour (add optional 2โ3 tbsp butter or sugar for extra crunch). Sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 50โ60 minutes until the center is set and edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before removing from pan. Chill in refrigerator for 2โ4 hours for best texture.
