Description

Easy Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, comforting dish perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken and pasta are cooked in a rich Parmesan and cream cheese sauce for a flavorful, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook chicken over medium heat until no longer pink, about 6โ€“8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sautรฉ garlic until fragrant. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Add chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and heat until sauce thickens.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley.
