Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage (breakfast, Italian, or spicy)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or preferred cheese blend
  • 2 cups bread cubes (optional)
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
  • ยฝ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ยผ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ยฝ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • ยฝ cup chopped spinach (optional)
  • ยผ cup diced onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Add cooked sausage, shredded cheese, bread cubes (if using), and optional vegetables. Mix until evenly combined.
  5. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30โ€“35 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
