Description

This Ground Beef and Brussels Sprouts stir-fry is a quick, flavorful, and healthy weeknight dinner. Tender ground beef is cooked with shredded Brussels sprouts, green onions, and a savory-sweet sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and a splash of lime.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound shredded brussels sprouts
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 of a lime, juiced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add shredded Brussels sprouts and cook for 4โ€“5 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Add green onions, soy sauce, and sriracha (if using). Stir to combine.
  4. Return ground beef to the skillet, add sweet chili sauce, and mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and drizzle lime juice over the top. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.

  • Serve over steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
