Ingredients
- For the Muffins:

1 egg

6 sausage patties, cooked and flattened
6 eggs, scrambled or fried
6 slices American cheese - Optional Add-ins:
Sharp cheddar cheese for stronger flavor
Turkey sausage for a lighter option
Drizzle of hot honey for a sweet-spicy twist
Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Prepare the muffin batter by mixing flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, egg, melted butter, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour small rounds of batter onto the heated skillet to form muffins and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Cook sausage patties according to package instructions or until fully cooked. Flatten if necessary.
- Scramble or fry the eggs and prepare cheese slices.
- Assemble McGriddle muffins: place sausage, egg, and cheese between two muffins.
