Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bars. Serve warm or at room temperature.
