Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bars. Serve warm or at room temperature.
