Description

This classic Campbell’s Green Bean Casserole is creamy, flavorful, and topped with crispy fried onions. Perfect for holiday dinners or a comforting side dish any time of year.


Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cups cut green beans (from 2 cans, 1 lb fresh, or one 16 oz frozen package)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • For the topping: 1 1/3 cups crispy french fried onions, divided


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, and green beans.
  3. Transfer mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
  4. Stir, then top with 2/3 of the crispy fried onions and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top before serving.
