Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- ยผ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- ยผ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ยฝ cup chicken broth or reserved pasta water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions; reserve ยฝ cup pasta water if desired. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6โ8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sautรฉ garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, paprika, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth (or reserved pasta water).
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss with sauce. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

- Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
