Description

Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole is a rich and cheesy baked dish made with seasoned ground beef, sautรฉed onions and peppers, and a creamy blend of provolone, mozzarella, and cream cheese. It delivers all the classic Philly flavors in a simple, keto-friendly casserole.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 large bell peppers, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell peppers and sautรฉ until softened. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and cook for 1โ€“2 minutes.
  5. Lower heat and mix in cream cheese until fully melted and combined.
  6. Return sautรฉed vegetables to the skillet and mix well.
  7. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with provolone slices and shredded mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 15โ€“20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add mushrooms to the vegetable mix.
  • Serve on its own for a low-carb meal or with cauliflower rice.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
