Ingredients
- For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, thinly pounded
- 4 slices ham (Black Forest or honey ham)
- 4 slices Swiss cheese (or Provolone or Gruyรจre)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (gluten-free if needed)
- 1/4 cup olive oil or butter, for frying
- For the Creamy Mustard Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- For Seasoning:
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry chicken for 4โ5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place cooked chicken on a baking sheet. Top each with a slice of ham and Swiss cheese.
- Broil for 2โ3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Serve chicken hot, drizzled with creamy mustard sauce.

- Serve with mashed potatoes, fries, or a fresh green salad.
- Chicken can also be baked at 400ยฐF for 25โ30 minutes instead of frying.
