This Philly Cheese Steak Pasta recipe brings the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak into a creamy, cheesy pasta dish. Tender steak or ground beef, sautรฉed peppers and onions, and a rich cheese sauce make it perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 12 oz pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sautรฉ garlic, bell pepper, and onion until softened.
- Add ground beef or steak strips to the skillet. Cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Sprinkle provolone cheese on top and stir until melted. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer, penne or rigatoni works great.
- Add mushrooms or banana peppers for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
