Description

This Philly Cheese Steak Pasta recipe brings the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak into a creamy, cheesy pasta dish. Tender steak or ground beef, sautรฉed peppers and onions, and a rich cheese sauce make it perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sautรฉ garlic, bell pepper, and onion until softened.
  3. Add ground beef or steak strips to the skillet. Cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  7. Sprinkle provolone cheese on top and stir until melted. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any pasta shape you prefer, penne or rigatoni works great.
  • Add mushrooms or banana peppers for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
