Description

This Sausage Alfredo Ravioli Lasagna layers cheesy ravioli with a creamy Alfredo sauce and spicy Italian sausage, baked to golden perfection for a decadent and comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 2 (10 oz) bags prepared cheese-filled ravioli
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2-2 tsp red pepper flakes, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning, for topping
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Nonstick spray for the pan


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sautรฉ garlic for 1-2 minutes. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  5. Layer half of the ravioli in the prepared baking dish, top with half of the cooked sausage, half of the Alfredo sauce, and 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, sausage, Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use any flavor of ravioli you prefer.
  • For extra cheesy top, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
