Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and cooked sausage to the flour mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour in buttermilk gradually, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 2โ3 times.
- Pat dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
