Description

A creamy and indulgent Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combining tender shrimp, al dente pasta, garlic, white wine, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce, baked with mozzarella for a golden topping.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautรฉ 1โ€“2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3โ€“4 minutes.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, simmer 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce and shrimp, transfer to prepared baking dish.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake 15โ€“20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
