Description
A creamy and indulgent Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake combining tender shrimp, al dente pasta, garlic, white wine, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce, baked with mozzarella for a golden topping.
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautรฉ 1โ2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3โ4 minutes.
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice, simmer 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce and shrimp, transfer to prepared baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake 15โ20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Substitute shrimp with chicken or scallops if desired.
- Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
