Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20โ25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars and serving.
