Description

This Spicy Yogurt Marinated Chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, served with a creamy dill feta sauce and crispy baby potatoesโ€”a perfect family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 ยฝ pounds chicken thighs or breasts
  • ยพ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
  • ยพ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ยฝ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles or capers (optional)
  • 1 ยฝ pounds baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, chili powder, garlic, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Toss baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and spread on a baking sheet. Roast for 25โ€“30 minutes until crispy.
  3. Grill or bake the marinated chicken until cooked through, about 20โ€“25 minutes depending on thickness.
  4. In a small bowl, combine feta, sour cream, lemon juice, dill, and pickles/capers if using to make the dill feta cream sauce.
  5. Serve chicken with roasted potatoes and drizzle with dill feta cream. Garnish with extra dill if desired.
