These Two Ingredient Cottage Cheese Tots are a quick and easy air fryer snack. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they’re perfect for a healthy, protein-packed treat in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd, drained)
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan if using. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small tots (about 1-inch pieces).
- Lightly spray the tots with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Drain the cottage cheese well to prevent soggy tots.
- For extra crispiness, coat tots lightly with additional breadcrumbs before air frying.
- Can be baked in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 15–18 minutes as an alternative.
