This Dump-and-Bake Meatball Casserole is a quick, hearty dinner with pasta, meatballs, and cheesy goodness baked in a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen meatballs
- 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ยผ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta, meatballs, pasta sauce, and water.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
- Bake uncovered for 35โ40 minutes until pasta is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- Any type of pasta can be used, adjust cooking time as needed.
- Leftovers reheat well in the oven or microwave.
