Description

This Dump-and-Bake Meatball Casserole is a quick, hearty dinner with pasta, meatballs, and cheesy goodness baked in a rich tomato sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta, meatballs, pasta sauce, and water.
  3. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until pasta is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

  • Any type of pasta can be used, adjust cooking time as needed.
