Description

Easy Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is a simple, comforting slow cooker dinner made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy gravy. Serve it over fluffy rice for an effortless family meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water until smooth.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks and stir well to coat it in the gravy.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

  • Mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or biscuits also pair wonderfully with the gravy.
  • Add frozen peas or carrots during the last 30 minutes of cooking for extra vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
