Description
Easy Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is a simple, comforting slow cooker dinner made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy gravy. Serve it over fluffy rice for an effortless family meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup water
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water until smooth.
- Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks and stir well to coat it in the gravy.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- Mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or biscuits also pair wonderfully with the gravy.
- Add frozen peas or carrots during the last 30 minutes of cooking for extra vegetables.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
