Ingredients
- 10 ounces dried egg noodles
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 (10.75-ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (15-ounce) jar French onion dip
- ½ cup French fried onions
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and French onion dip until smooth.
- Add the cooked noodles and browned beef to the sauce and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the French fried onions over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the onions are golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

- Add shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese for an extra cheesy casserole.
- Cover loosely with foil if the fried onions begin to brown too quickly.
